TesseraEQ is built to serve Talent first. That principle extends to how we handle your data.

What we collect

When you sign up, we collect your email address and the username you choose. As you build your profile, we store the content you provide: career history, featured work, writing samples, media, case studies, and uploaded documents including resumes and interview transcripts.

If you complete the psychometric assessment section, we store your uploaded results and the derived signal scores used in profile matching.

If you fill in your work preferences (compensation, location, role type, company stage, and related fields), we store those privately.

We also collect anonymous usage data — page views and engagement events — to understand how profiles are being used.

How we use it

Your public profile content is displayed at your profile URL to anyone who visits it.

Your work preferences are never displayed publicly and are never shared with recruiters. They are used only in the job description matching process to determine fit.

Your profile content is processed by our AI systems to generate match summaries when a recruiter submits a job description. This processing is done via Anthropic's API. Your content is not used to train AI models.

We use your email address to send you platform communications: your sign-in link, notifications about recruiter activity on your profile, and product updates. We will not send you marketing email from third parties.

Who can see your data

Recruiters who visit your profile see your public profile content and any AI-generated match summary produced from their job description. They do not see your email address, your preferences, your psychometric raw results, or any information you have not chosen to make public.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the platform (Supabase for database and authentication, Anthropic for AI processing, Hostinger for hosting).

Anonymized data

We may use aggregated, anonymized data — patterns and signals that cannot be traced to any individual — for product improvement, market analysis, and research. This data contains no personally identifiable information.

Cookies

We use a single anonymous cookie to track recruiter visits across sessions for analytics purposes. This cookie contains no personally identifiable information.

Your right to deletion

You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time by emailing jack@tesseraeq.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Match summaries previously generated by recruiters may be retained in anonymized form as part of their records, with all identifying information removed.
